FRANKLIN EDWARD MORRIS (American, 1938-) WASHINGTON STREET SCENE. Oil on board scene shows several horse driven carriages along a wide street lined with trees. Tall buildings can be seen beyond the trees. Unsigned front. Back with a penned inscription "Painted by my father Franklin E. Morris after a painting by Childe Hassam" and signed "JA Morris". Also a stamp from David Terry Fine Art, Columbus, Ohio. Housed in a good carved gilt wood frame. Morris is known to do both Washington and New York street scenes. SIZE: 8" x 10". CONDITION: Very good. 9-71472
