Inscribed in a later hand on the frame Grassy Hill (Lime Conn.)) - "The artist's farm" - / circa 1925 / F. V. Dumond

There is a minuscule, barely perceptible loss near the lower edge at center.

Craquelure in the sky in upper right quadrant. Pigments fluoresce under UV exam, particularly in the sky. It is consequently difficult to distinguish inpaint, though there is certainly scattered inpaint into the craquelure in the sky at upper right.

There is a 1 1/2 inch scratch with no paint loss that extends through, but does not mar, the signature.
