Description

screen, 66" x 68" (overall dimensions), unsigned, but accompanied by a letter from the executor of the artist’s estate; imperfections. Hoffman studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Southern California. He exhibited at the Hoosier Salon from 1938-1943, and was awarded a prize there in 1941. His work is in the collections of the University of Wisconsin and the Century of Progress Exposition. Striking Art Deco style imagery.
