Saskatchewan NAC bio: Frank Nulf was born in 1931 in Lima, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University (1958), his Master of Arts from Michigan State University (1960), and then served as associate professor of art at the State University of New York (1960-1969). He later received his Ph.D. In Comparative Arts from Ohio University (1969) and moved to Regina, Saskatchewan to teach and serve as Dean of Fine Arts at the University of Regina. When his term ended in 1974, Nulf continued to teach at the U of R, until moving to Sydenham, Ontario, in 1988.Nulf worked in a variety of mediums, from oils, acrylics, and watercolour, to printmaking and drawing. The latter medium is one that Nuff turned to in the 1970s, and, as one reviewer wrote, "Nulf's drawings reveal his brooding preoccupation with the dark side of the human condition." Nulf's work has been exhibited in the United States and in Canada since the late 1950s. Collections in which his work can be found include the Canada Council Art Bank (Ottawa), Art Gallery of Toronto, MacKenzie Art Gallery (Regina), Memorial University Art Gallery (St. John's), Michigan University, Winnipeg Art Gallery, Saskatchewan Arts Board, Saint Lawrence University (Canton, New York), State University of New York, University of Regina, and University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon).Nulf received awards including from the Canada Council (1977) and a Fulbright Award in Painting (1962), which allowed him to travel to Spain.Frank Nulf died on February 24th, 2015, in Sydenham, Ontario.

We take care to pack well, and ship in a timely fashion. Buyer pays for stated shipping within the United States, international customers please contact us for a shipping quote. We offer reduced shipping for winners of multiple lots, as follows: buyer pays full shipping amount of the won lot that bears the highest shipping charge, and receives a 30% discount on the stated shipping amount for all other won lots. For example, a winner of three lots with stated shipping charges of $4.50, $6.50 and $8.00 will pay $15.70 rather than the full $19.00. All books and other media ship via USPS Media Mail. Typical delivery time within the continental U.S. is 5-10 days. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us for a Priority Mail upgrade. Insurance is available and recommended (please note that by declining insurance, you assume the risk of loss or damage in transit) on shipped packages at a flat rate of $1.00 per $100.00 of coverage for domestic shipments and $2.00 per $100.00 of coverage for all international shipments (please let us know if you are adding insurance to your total). All shipments with a total value of $200.00 or greater, as well as all packages being shipped outside the United States, will require mandatory insurance coverage and that charge will be added to the shipping amount on the invoices.

Payment

Payment should be made in full within ten days following the sale by email transfer, cheque, cash, bank draft, PayPal, Visa or MasterCard, unless other arrangements have been made with the auctioneer prior to the sale. Payment via PayPal, Visa or Mastercard will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge on the invoice total.
Successful bidders will receive an invoice via email from the auctioneer within one day of the close of the auction.
