Frank Dean R.B.A. (1865-1946), Toledo, Spain, signed, inscribed and dated 1900, oil on board, 37 x 49.5cm.; 14.5 x 19.5in. * Studied art at the Slade and in Paris 1882-86. Exhibited at the principal London galleries from 1885, mainly at the Royal Academy and the Society of British Artists-Suffolk Street. Elected R.B.A. 1894 but resigned 1897.
