FIVE ARCHAISTIC JADE BEADS

Late Qing Dynasty

The conjoint cylindrical beads of different diameters carved with two archaic style
chi dragons in low relief, the stone degraded to a bone-white texture; the conjoint
cong-shaped beads carved with a dragon pursuing flaming pearl on one side, the reverse with four characters in low relief, the celadon stone stained black to one side; the tubular bead slightly tapered to one end, decorated with
ruyi scrolls, the celadon stone stained brown in areas; the tubular bead flanked by two smaller cylinders, the mottled green stone stained brown in areas; the
cong-shape bead of rectangular body and circular ends, the pale stone stained black in areas. (5)
