Autograph manuscript, two full pages, signed twice John Fitch, probably East Windsor, CT.

"Notes on Lying"; the text of the manuscript contemplates the act of lying, and whether the act can be justified 'according to reason' or through use of the scriptures. Small hole from ink erosion; crease marks with one small tear.
