The present vase was executed by Gentil et Bourdet, after a design by Michelet. The firm made stoneware and later pâte-de-verre, enamel and stoneware pieces which were exhibited at the 1925 Paris exhibition.

Another example of this vase is in the permanent collection of The Royal Pavilion, Art Gallery and Museums, Brighton, UK.
