Fine Meiji Period Japanese bronze depicting a perched owl on conifer, brown patina, two-character, two-piece construction as shown. Pegged owl that is perched upon highly detailed log branch. The finest details are fluent throughout the owl as well on the lower tree branch base. Meiji period (1868-1912) bronze measuring approx 20" tall x 16" wide x 14" deep.
