Fatma Charfi, Tunisian b.1955- 'Between Sky and Earth', 2005; suite of three c-type prints, 69x49cm., ea., (3). Note:After graduating from the Fine Arts School in Tunisia, the artist studied animation in Poland in 1977 and at the Ecole Superieure d'Art Visual de Geneve, Switzerland. The artist holds a PhD from the Institut d'Esthetique et des Sciences de l'Art at the Sorbonne in Paris. The artist has exhibited widely including the International Contemporary Art Biennale, Alexandria, Egypt 1999; the Dakar Biennale, Dakar, Senegal 2002; the Sculpture Triennale, Berne, Switzerland 2002 and the Centre d'Art Contemporaine, Santander, Spain, 2002.
