Ink and color on paper, vertical scroll. The painting depicts a young girl wearing Cultural Revolution era clothing, leading horses and sheep forward while carrying two small lambs, artist signature and mark Fang Zengxian on the bottom right.

說明：方增先，浙江浦江人。1953年畢業於浙江美術學院，1955年任教於浙江美術學院中國畫系，創作《粒粒皆辛苦》。繪畫風格方面，他吸收了西方嚴謹的素描造型方法，又跟中國文人畫強調骨法用筆和中國畫山水的關照方式結合起來，使人物畫的造型既達到了寫實的高度，同時又發揮了中國畫的特色。後任浙江省美術家協會副主席、上海美術家協會主席、上海美術館館長、中國美術家協會常務理事、上海中國畫院一級美術師、上海大學講席教授等職。其出版物有《方增先造型》、《潑墨真情畫人生》等。 2013年獲第二屆“中國美術獎·終身成就獎”。
