Dayanita Singh is an artist who works with the medium of photography, and considers book-making her form. In the last year she has exhibited at the Museum Fr Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Hayward Gallery in London, and has represented Germany at the Venice Biennale in 2013. Her most recent book work, Museum of Chance, will be published by Steidl this year. In 2014 she has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Museum Fr Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt as well as The Art Institute, Chicago. She has also previously been shown at Museum voor Fotografie, Amsterdam; Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston and last year at The Hayward Gallery, London. This unique archival inkjet print will be framed under the artist's supervision. Dayanita Singh will be available to make the Family Portrait photograph until the end of the 2015 calendar year, subject to her prior commitments. The cost of travel and accommodation within India shall be borne by Khoj.
