hosoban urushi-e, 32.5 by 15.3cm., 12 3/4 by 6 1/16 in.

the former holding a long pipe and seated in his open shop before the standing figure of Sodesaki Miwano I, in an unidentified play, publisher's mark of Shiba Shinmei-mae Yoko-cho, Emiya, signed gako Okumura Toshinobu hitsu

Condition Note: Very good impression with handcolouring, slightly soiled and stained, left edge rather trimmed, a minor pinhole
