Signed on the reverse and inscribed Portrait of/ A: P: Gibson Esq/ Consul of the United/ States of North America/ at Sυt: Petersburgh/ Painted by/ F: H: Bischoff/ Nυo1 Knightsbridge Terrace, gilt-metal frame with glazed reverse; together with a portrait of W. Plinkie by the same hand (cracked).
