Composed of five strands of curb-link chain, the clasp set with an oval portrait miniature of a young child, by Friedrich Wailand (Austrian, 1821-1904), painted on ivory, within a 3.3mm-3.5mm pearl surround, mounted in gold, pearls untested, makers marks KC, Austrian assay mark, miniature signed Wailand, bracelet length 18.6cm
The United States Government has banned the import of ivory into the USA.
