Description

ANDRES, Antonio Martinez, (Spanish/American, 1917-1966): ''Arco De Alcanada'', O/C mounted on Wood Panel, 56 1/2'' x 37 1/2'', signed lower right, encased in antiqued gesso frame with wear, 61 1/2'' x 42''. Condition - Sporadic in-paint, professionally restored in 1984. This painting won Andres the Spanish Cartagena Fellowship in the 1940's, and once hung in the St.Petersburg Museum of Fine Art.
