Esther Carp (1897-1970), "Nature Morte" mid century modern still life oil painting on canvas. In carved gilt French frame, in frme measures 19"x15"x1 1/2". Weight 3 pds. Born in Poland and then moved to Paris. From 1930 to 1945 Ester Carp exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Independants, the Salon d'Automne and the Union des Femmes Francaises. Her art was frature at the 1949 Salon de Mai. PROVENANCE: A Private Paris, France / Charleston SC Estate.
