Taking part in the auction means full acceptance of the conditions of sale.
Buyers will pay the hammer price of 21 %.
An exhibition prior to the sale permits buyers to establish the condition of the items for sale and thus, no claims will be accepted after the hammer has fallen. Upon request, a "condition report" may be obtained before the auction.
The indication given by the auction house about the existence of reparation work, of an accident or incident affecting the lot are to facilitate the inspection by the potential buyers but the buyer's appreciation remains his own. Absence of any indication of the existence of reparation work, of an accident or incident affecting the lot in the catalogue, the reports, or indicated verbally, does not eliminate the existence of other possible defects.
The estimation prices are given only as indication and therefore cannot be of any guaranty.
THE SALE
In order to participate to the sale, potential buyers must be registered prior to the sale. A bid implies that the bidder will be responsible for the payment of the hammer price and any transaction costs.
In case of being unable to attend, a buyer can give a bid form to the auctioneer. The auctioneer refuses any responsibility as to the execution of the bid form. If a buyer wishes to bid by phone, he must make the request at least two days before the sale in writing and indicate his bank details and a proof of identity.
The auctioneer refuses any responsibility concerning legal or fiscal consequences arising from a false declaration made by the buyer.
