SS 40.5 x 37.5 in.; DOA 49 x 45.5 in.

This painting was completed while Ernestine was an artist at the American Academy in Rome from 1952-1953. Mary Jo met Ernestine in Rome and feels "all her paintings reflect the beauty and generosity of the people there (Rome) and just make you feel good."
