"Estate of Emily B. Waite" in pen on the frame backing paper.
Oil on panel, 10 7/16 x 12 3/4 in. (26.5 x 35.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Retouch, surface grime.

Panel stenciled on the reverse with a caduceus and anchor within a circle and with a star below and, separately, with the number "5."

There is retouch in the center just to the left of the center mast (fourth boat from the right) likely to cover a paint loss of about 1 inch high and 1/4 inch wide at the widest point. There is a second area of retouch, lower center, a vertical line measuring about 1-1/4 inch, perhaps to cover a hairline crack or abrasion.
