Schreiner Gallery, Outsiders, April-July 1988, p. 107, cat. no. 75 (illustrated). NOTES One of the earliest known Outsiders, Emile Hodinos was a trained engraver before he was institutionalized in the French hospital of Ville Evrard. His finely drawn works, generally related to designs for medallions, reflect his past training. He created a small body of work, virtually all of which is in the Collection de l'art brut in Lausanne.
