NOTE

Emile Joachim Constant Puyo was a founding member of the Photo-Club de Paris, along with his fellow pictorialists Robert Demachy and Maurice Bucquet. The Club was the French equivalent of the Photo-Secession, in New York, and the Linked Ring, in London. Puyo's photographs were featured in the landmark International Exhibition of Pictorial Photography at the Albright Gallery in Buffalo, in 1910, and in the pages of Camera Work.
