Athenaeum, edition of 50. Signed "Eliza D. Gardiner" in pencil l.l., titled in pencil l.c., numbered "No 5 of 50 proofs" in pencil l.r. Color woodcut on paper, image size 7 1/8 x 5 in. (18.0 x 12.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Unobtrusive toning, pale foxing, not examined out of frame.

N.B. The view depicted is the Providence Athenaeum. The building was designed by William Strickland, and was built in 1838.
