Eli Umajualu Qumalu (Povungnituk Inuit, b. 1940)

Man Pulling Out Fish with a Line. Incised "E9-841..." on the underside. Carved gray stone, approx. 4 x 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. Condition: Lacking fishing pole.

Provenance: Purchased from Carl Siembab Gallery, Boston, on March 29, 1961.
