Notes

Born in Moscow, Ekaterina Goldinger studied with Konstantin Savitskii and Leonid Pasternak. She began showing her work in 1904 and would later become a member of several exhibition societies including the Union of Russian Artists and the New Society of Artists. This painting was exhibited at 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition, known as the World Fair, held in St. Louis.
