Eight Woodblock Prints, Japan, 19th century, one by Toyokuni I (1769–1825), portraying a young samurai, karakuzi embossing applied to his inner garment; two by Eiri (1781-1818), depicting courtesans by a river, part of pentaptych, Prince Genji Returning to His Palace where His Wife Awaits Him; a portrait by Kunisada (1786-1865); three by Utamaro I (d. 1806); and one by Kuniaki II (1835-1888), portraying a wrestler, all oban size.
