Edwards (John D., 1952-). ÒTroubled SeaÓ, 1985, colour screen print, heavily hand-finished with gouache and bodycolour, with scratching out, limited edition, 1/1 copy only, signed and dated twice in pencil (once within the image), image size 710 x 640mm (28 x 25.25ins) John Edwards studied at Harrow School and at Central School of Art. During the seventies he worked with a number of artists, including Peter Blake, Jim Dine, Barry Flanagan, Allen Jones and Ben Nicholson, in London, Europe and the United States. Since 1980 Edwards has shown all over the world, and his paintings and sculpture are in many public and private collections. He currently lives and works in an old dog biscuit factory in the East End of London. (1)
