Autograph note signed ('E.L.A.') to Charles Seymour Wright, n.p., n.d., sending a list of gear required on a sledging journey, 'Please bring at the last load as much dog biscuit as you can without unduly loading the ponies', also asking for 'Cod line', and ending 'You had better bring some cigars down if you need them', in pencil, on a folded page torn from a notebook, one page, 8vo; with an autograph note signed by Wright ('C.S.W.') to Atkinson, n.p., 4 November n.y., 'Got another blow of wind here. Ponies not going their full [?]scraw so am leaving ½ sack mixture here', giving his course 'should be about on our last year's line of cairns now', and asking Atkinson to 'shift the oats round to S. side of the cairn', in pencil on a folded page torn from a notebook, one page, 8vo; and a second autograph letter signed by Atkinson to Wright, 25 February 1912, giving directions about disposal of scientific equipment, one page, 4to.
