EDWARD FREDERICK ERTZ RBA (AMERICAN 1862-1954) French Village, Winter oil on canvas, signed, framed 48cm x 71.5cm Note: Ertz trained under Constant, Delance & Lefebvre and was later appointed Professor at Académie Delecluse, Paris. Exhibited widely in France, USA and Britain including The Paris Salons. Multiple medal and award winner including the Grand Prix Rouen 1896 & The Gold Medal at International Exposition St Etienne 1895. Collections include: The Smithsonian Museum of American Art, The Library of Congress Washington D.C., The Cleveland Museum and The Boston Museum of Fine Art.
