The Klamath River, about 250 miles long, flows from southern Oregon in a roughly southwestward direction into northern California and the Pacific Ocean. Its waters pass through a very scenic, mountainous terrain, which includes one of the largest salmon runs on the Pacific coast. Bruce lived in California from 1929-1933, when he was president of the Pacific Development Corporation of California.
