From the Collection of Jorge Fernandez de Castro and his widow Marta Sardinas; Robert Borlenghi acquired the piece from Marta's nephew in Spain; the family was able to move to Spain with their collection. An important piece by Abela; illustrated in 3 publications. - The piece was originally part of an exhibit in La Galeria Habana in 1963, it was purchased there by the J.F.Castro along with another piece "El Niño con Melon"; the family also had "El Niño Insomne" which was given to the family by Abela because they had purchased the two other works.
