Description

Earl Swanigan, (American, 1964-2019) Acrylic on masonite, large format depicts anthropomorphic dog in green dress with daisies on bright yellow background. Titled verso "Dog in Flower Dress" Signed and dated l.r. "10/2014 EKS" 36" x 44 1/2" unframed. Swanigan was a noted Outsider artist from Hudson, NY. This painting comes from the collection of a close friend and collector of Earl's who is featured in the documentary.

A 20% Buyer's Premium will be added to all items purchased at the auction via phone or absentee bid, 25% if purchased via Invaluable, Live Auctioneers, or Auction Zip. All items are also subject to any applicable state and local sales and use tax unless the purchaser presents a valid sales tax exemption certificate. Unless prior arrangements have been made, all fine jewelry lots must be paid by bank check or wire transfer.

All items are sold "as is" - the auctioneer makes no warranties of any kind. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to request a condition report on any lots upon which they intend to bid, prior to placing a bid.
