EARL CUNNINGHAM (American, 1893-1977)"MOCK UP 1950 ST AUGUSTINE FLA NO 5". Oil on paper laid on corrugated cardboard winter scene shows a snow-covered harbor with large water-powered mill having red and yellow buildings, twin docks with moored ships and two ships seen on a bluish-green sea. A sliver of land separates the water and is covered with palm style trees, covered in snow. Three small boats and ducks are beyond. Signed lower left, "Earl Cunningham" and housed in a modern black shadow box style frame with glass front and Lucite back showing title in pencil. SIZE: (sight) 16"h x 35-1/4"w. PROVENANCE: Recently found in a New England home. CONDITION: Generally very good with losses to edges, most apparent on right side and top edge. Some light foxing. 9-93100 (10,000-15,000)
