Dyer Irene - Original Oil Painting" Drakensberg Scene

Original oil on board" framed. Dyer (1890-1954) was an Australian who emigrated to South Africa. The painting has no date (possibly 1940's)" but does bear the artist's signature at lower right corner. Image size 48cm x 60cm. The artist is mentioned in Esme Berman's 'Art And Artists of Southern Africa' (1970 first edition). The painting is in good condition" but does have areas of flaking on the central section (mountain and sky) and lower right edge" so will need some restoration.
