This and the following lot are apparently by the same hand as a group of fifty-six tulip studies exhibited at Noortman B.V., Maastricht, in 1987; those drawings were attributed by Dr. Sam Segal to Anthony Claesz. (circa 1607/8-1649) (see Segal, Tulips by Anthony Claesz., Maastricht 1987).
