Born in London in 1980, Irish-Italian artist David Uda (Duda) now lives and works between Dublin and New York. With a background in fashion and a love for the aesthetics of shape and form, Duda’s pieces are colourful and naturally rendered. Many of Duda’s paintings can be characterized by his appreciation for beauty, combined with his own take on modern day life & pop culture. Duda uses mixed media throughout his work and is known for exploring a wide variety of techniques, ranging from original stencil compositions to glasswork.

Duda is represented in Ireland by Sol Art Gallery and in the U.S. by The World Trade Gallery in New York City, who, alongside Silverstein Properties invited Duda to be one of 33 internationally renowned artists involved in an exciting project in 4 World Trade Centre, launched in early 2017, receiving widespread coverage and praise for his work including The New York Times, Forbes, ABC News, The Irish Times amongst many others. Duda continues to catch the eye of collectors internationally with his unique style of contemporary pop art, while adding to his ever-growing portfolio with personal collections for upcoming exhibitions and bespoke commissions for admirers of his work.
