DOUGLAS GRANT (Amer. 1894-1993) AFRICAN-AMERICAN WATERCOLOR A watercolor by the American illustrator Douglas Grant dated 1954 depicted 2 African-American women standing by a flower stand on a rainy day in a city street, signed & dated lower right, 17.5" x 23.5", good condition. NOTE: Grant was the brother of American artist Gordon Grant and at the time this watercolor was painted was living in North Carolina.
