40x27 inches. U. S. Government Printing Office.
Condition B+: tears and creases in margins; pinholes in corners. Paper.
Dorothy Waugh studied design at the Chicago Institute of Art, then moved to New York where she managed Alfred A. Knopf's children's book department. During the 1930s, she worked for the National Park Service as production supervisor and also provided them with actual artwork and copy. There are at least eight known images which she designed for the National Parks and each is marked by a unique treatment of typography and bold graphics.
