Lot 211: Don Weisflog Sculpture

"Boob Tube" sculpture by Don Weisflog (American, 1922-2006). Pop art carved alabaster sculpture mounted on a wooden pedestal. Signed & dated. Weisflog earned a M.S. and a M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin. He taught all aspects of art at both his alma mater and schools in Indiana. His own pieces, for which he won many prizes, can be seen in collections in NYC, Chicago, Wisconsin, and Indiana; 1982
