Note:
In 1973 Julie Harris won a Tony award for her portrayal of Mary Todd Lincoln in The Last of Mrs. Lincoln, which was written by James Prideaux. This play follows the tragic life of Mrs. Lincoln following the assassination of her husband. In 1976, Harris reprised her role in a film adaptation of the play.

This lot is accompanied by a drawing of a costume design for Julie Harris, which is also signed by Don Bachardy.
