DOES Jacob van der (der Altere) - follower (4.3.1623 Amsterdam - 17.11.1673 Sloten) Sheep at ruins Oil on wood, 23,5 x 18 cm, framed, undated [second half of the 18th century], signed lower right, with expertise on the painting technique. Dutch painter, draughtsman and engraver. He went on a study stay to Italy via Paris, he was active in The Hague and Amsterdam, he is known for his Italian landscapes with animals and shepherds in the style of A. v. d. Velde.
