Therefore, this mountain vista has been simplified into fields of plastic masses which crest and dip in a languorous rhythm. The expressive and enchanting palette is jewel toned. Intense blues and greens are beautifully contrasted with purple and yellow. Judd skillfully uses color for emotional effect and to integrate the painting's design.
