Note:
Bolduc studied at OCA in Toronto (now OCAD) and at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in the 1960's. In 1966, he returned to Toronto and found representation first with the Carmen Lamanna Gallery and then the David Mirvish Gallery. By the mid 1970's Bolduc had, in the words of Roald Nasgaard, "staked out the personal territory that would serve his needs in the future: a kind of signature composition, essentially symmetrical, focused on a central image that was usually rendered in brilliant hues and set in variegated ground of contrasting colour.'
