Condition Report

The sheet is floated in the frame with all edges visible. There is rippling to the sheet which would suggest that it is not laid down. There is water staining completely across the top edge of the sheet, and also on the linen-covered mount. The staining extends into the composition at a maximum of 3 inches, the area of greatest damage located to u.r. What may appear to be staining at the bottom left corner and also above the signature are actually areas where the white ground was not applied completely to the edge of the sheet. There are some similar areas that might appear as scuffing to the center right, where this same incomplete coverage is visible. There is a fox mark to center left side. Most of the collaged elements show rippling.
