Danish Cast Bronze Figural Chess Set by Carl Hansen, Circa 1875 One side silvered and the other oxidized, the kings holding pots of beer, the queens with bustle skirts, bishops as jockeys, knights as donkeys, rooks as figures on turrets, fitted in a wood presentation box with sliding lid. King is 7cm and Pawn 4.7cm high
