Sala Baganza lies to the south west of Parma. A signed and dated drawing of 1796, showing the same aqueduct, but seen from the other side, is in the Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge, Mass (inv. no. 1898.40; see A. Mongan and P.J. Sachs, Drawings in the Fogg Museum of Art, 3 vols., Cambridge 1940, vol. I, cat. no. 562, reproduced vol. III, fig. 282).
