Notes

Dai Mingyue (1608-1686), whose style name is Daomo and pseudonym Yanluo, was from Cangzhou in Henan province. His Daoist name was Dingyuan, and he named himself as Tiezhou and Xingyi in his later years. He was good at painting and calligraphy, especially landscapes and ink bamboo.
