Description

Curtis Rosser (American, Texas/Connecticut, 1927 - 2005), "New England Pier," watercolor on paper, signed lower right and dated 1969, measures 11.75 x 15.75 inches to the matt edge, 17.50 x 21 inches framed. CONDITION: Good, frame with some light wear. A native Texan, Rosser was born in 1927. He studied at the San Antonio Art Institute, and subsequently at DePauw University. A winner of over 50 major art prizes, his work is represented in numerous public and private collections, including those of the Fogg Museum at Harvard University and the Cape Museum of Fine Art.
