A Lady, seated, wearing black dress with puffed sleeves and white lace cuffs, pendent glass drop earrings and wedding ring, she holds a white handkerchief, a vermillion mantle with embroidered border over the arm of her chair, crimson curtain, balustrade over arch and landscape beyond.
Signed on the obverse C.DURHAM, gilt-metal frame.
