Condition Report

The canvas has a firm relining and the painting has been recently cleaned and restored. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals recent retouchings and strengthening in the man's forehead and his collar, and around the gloves that he holds. Sensitive, older retouchings may be found throughout his coat and in the background, upper left. Overall in good condition.
